Executive coach, Therese Marie Smith

In addition to brief attendee introductions at this month’s meeting, Executive coach Therese Marie Smith will present “8 Things to Consider if a Transition is in your Future.” Making a career change can be a daunting task, but it’s possible to do it with little pain if you are willing to look at yourself and take a step outside of your comfort zone. Therese will share some practical tools she has used during the past 3 decades to guide hundreds of professionals through meaningful career and life transitions.

Therese Marie Smith is an executive coach who works with professionals who are focused on improving their leadership skills or their careers.

Therese’s entire career history has prepared her to successfully coach executives.  Beginning with her business degree from Wayne State University in 1986, which focused on industrial relations, followed by human resources work within the corporate sector, and founding and growing a successful boutique recruiting practice, Therese is at home with corporate leaders within all business sectors. Her formalized coaching training was through Leadership University – School of Developmental Coaching in 2006, focusing on the behavioral component of leadership and the importance of self-awareness.
